Our kitchen is all about hearty, flavour-packed food this autumn and winter, from cosy lunches and indulgent dinners to those seriously good Sunday roasts.
Our seasonal British menu champions quality produce with rich pub classics, generous plates and comforting dishes made for colder days (think proper gravy, golden roasties and puddings worth saving room for). It’s the kind of food that turns a quick lunch into a long one — and has you planning your next visit before you’ve finished.
Come along to our pub for all of your Christmas celebrations – the belt-loosening, one-more-bite-worthy kind (you know the ones). Whether it’s an end-of-year work get-together, a long-overdue mates’ reunion or that family knees-up that’s been in the group chat since July, rest assured we’ve got it all wrapped up (like a perfectly crisped pig in blanket) at our charming, cosy Putney pub.
We can host your festive party whatever the occasion, with our twinkle-lit, toasty-warm indoor spaces and a fairy-lit, mulled-wine-sipping stretch tent outside.
Catch the Autumn Nations live at The Green Man, Putney, with all the rugby action shown inside and out. Settle in for every scrum, try and last-minute kick with hearty pub food, proper half-time bites and a well-earned pint close at hand.
Looking for a pub showing the Autumn Nations in Putney? Round up the rugby crowd, grab a table and make a match day of it with us.
Get ready for big, mouth-watering Yorkies, crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside roasties, and the juiciest, tenderest British meats you can imagine. From our slow-roasted West Country rump of beef (trust us, it’s melt-in-your-mouth good), to our most popular, crowd-pleasing roast… our cider and bay slow-cooked Dingley Dell belly of pork (it’s basically the Sunday roast of your dreams). Sundays are extra-special at ours, and we’ve made sure our menu reflects that, full of fresh-off-the-stalk, seasonal sides and feel-good flavours. Take a look at our Sunday menu and see for yourself, it’s a Sunday feast that’s nothing short of legendary.
Our super-intimate, charm-packed pub is the perfect spot for all kinds of celebrations, whether you’re hosting a prosecco-fuelled birthday bash, winding down with easy-going after-work drinks, toasting to a life-affirming milestone, throwing a sun-drenched garden party, or just catching up with those familiar-faced old friends.
We’re just as head-over-heels for your four-legged pals as you are, which makes our pub the ultimate post-walk pit stop for both you and your best furry pal. Whether you’ve wandered through the sun-dappled, leaf-covered Putney Heath or strolled along the Putney riverbank, we’ve got everything to make tails wag – complimentary treats, belly rubs, and even canine IPA (aka water, served in style).
Our socials absolutely POP-OFF (to say the least). We post all the latest can’t-miss updates, mouth-watering food specials, exciting happenings, and last-minute plans (because who doesn’t love a impromptu good time in a beer garden?). Being the heart-of-the-community pub we are, why would you want to miss out on any of the action?
